What counts as an organisation?

An organisation is one distinct governance context—for example a company, NHS trust, charity, university or public body. Its goals, strategy, people, papers, meetings, Intelligence and decisions are kept together so BoardCue can connect pre-meeting preparation, live discussion and post-meeting follow-up accurately.

Boards and committees that share the same organisational strategy and governance context can sit within that organisation. Separate companies, trusts or bodies must each use their own organisation. One organisation cannot be reused as a container for unrelated bodies, because mixing them would make its knowledge, evidence and triangulation unreliable.
